We love seeing and hearing children in the sanctuary during our worship service and are glad for families to worship together! A nursery for those up to 2 years of age is located at the rear of the sanctuary if needed. We encourage parents to keep their children sitting with them through the service as it will expose them to the gospel at the earliest of ages and help them learn to participate in worship as well as they grow. It really is the best place that they can be on a Sunday!
There are Sunday school classes for the children with their various ages from the age of 2 up through high school. The children put on a Christmas program one Sunday morning every December reminding us the real reason for the season. They always do such a great job with it and, of course, look cute doing so!
We have had a Wednesday night ministry for the children which runs alongside of our adult Bible study at 6:30 called JOY club. Stay tuned for more information as to when we will be starting up this wonderful ministry again soon.
Also, every summer we have a week long Vacation Bible School program for both the children in the church as well as those outside in the community. It always proves to be a fun time learning about Jesus! Check back in the late Spring or early summer for this year's theme and ways to register. We would love to have your children be a part of this ministry!
